About Me

Hi! I’m Chrystal, the owner and photographer at Honey and Light.

I am a full-time photographer born in San Francisco and raised Oakland, California.

I would consider my wedding style at the intersections of editorial, adventurous and documentary.

I fell in love with photography at the age of 14. I am absolutely obsessed with documenting life through my camera. I love the way a photograph can bring memories, feelings, smells, and sounds rushing back to me. In a way, photography is the only true way of time travel.

Things I love: practicing latte art, spending time with my family, watching Studio Ghibli films for inspiration, gaming with friends, and traveling to the edges of earth. I’m currently learning to rock climb and taking ceramic classes.

My favorite US National Park is Yosemite because of the way it evolves with each season. I would love to visit Olympic National Park and White Sands National Park!
