Hey there! I’m Chrystal, the owner and lead photographer at Honey and Light.
I am a full-time photographer born in San Francisco and raised Oakland, California. Since I was a kid, art has always been an integral part of my life.
I fell in love with photography at the age of 14. I am absolutely obsessed with documenting life through my camera. I love the way a photograph can bring memories, feelings, smells, and sounds rushing back to me. In a way, photography is the only true way of time travel, and that’s what I love most about it.
In my free time, I love oat milk lattes, yoga, fashion, gaming with friends, and traveling to the edges of earth. My favorite National Parks is Yosemite because of the way it evolves with each season. I would love to visit Olympic National Park and White Sands National Park!

Lead Videographer
I'm a full-time videographer specializing in weddings, commercial, and corporate filmmaking. When I was in college, I bought my first camera and took every possible opportunity to travel on weekends. I fell in love with the art of filmmaking while documenting my travels. I immersed myself in the wedding industry shortly thereafter.
Aside from weddings, I love working on independent films, commercials, corporate events, and sports content.
In my free time, you can catch me at the gym, traveling (my favorite country is Vietnam!), spending time with my family, perfecting my espresso pulls, or eating my favorite food - duck over rice.
